It was first created at a wedding party in 2004 at the cocktail bar Sips. The Lazy Red Cheeks got its name from Antwerp native Tom Barman, also known as the lead singer of dEUS. He was a regular at the cocktail bar Sips and sampled the drink. One thing was clear: this delicious cocktail with vodka makes you blush. This inspired the singer et voilà, the Lazy Red Cheeks was born. A reference to the color, refreshing taste and ... blushing cheeks.
The cocktail is made with vodka, raspberries, lime and violet. It is a guaranteed success if you like fruity, fresh cocktails. The floral taste takes you right away to summer and makes you long for the sun. The cocktail is a hype in Belgium, and is ready to conquer the world.

How do I make a Lazy Red Cheeks?
The answer is very simple! In just four steps, you can conjure up an amazing cocktail:
- Place the pre-made cocktail in the refrigerator for a while beforehand. Preferably an hour in advance so the cocktail will be nice and cool.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the entire contents of the sachet into the glass.
- Add another violet and your cocktail is ready to be served!
