FOUNDER - The origins of his passion for cocktails lie in the bar of the Okura Hotel, then the best hotel in the Netherlands. This is where he started immediately after studying hotel and event management. When Naushad met his girlfriend from Antwerp, he traded Amsterdam for Belgium and immersed himself in his passion here.
He immediately got to work at Cocktails at Nine, the successful Antwerp cocktail bar popularly known as "the Nine." Here he worked his way up to head of the bar team.
In 2017, Naushad was voted Belgium's best bartender in theworld 's largest cocktailcompetition , the Diageo World Class Competition. He had the honor of defending Belgium at the world finals and finished 12th out of 55 participating countries.
In addition, Naushad could also be seen on television. He created and presented a program on Njam! TV. During this program he served viewers numerous tips and facts about cocktails.
Today, Naushad invests his passion and time in creating new cocktails for Craftails.
