Did you know that making sorbet is almost as easy as serving Craftails ? Well, of course, Craftails serving is very simple and doesn't require much work on your part! Making sorbet requires a little more time, but is well worth the effort.
Supplies: raspberries, lemon juice, blender, strainer
Puree the washed raspberries with a dash of lemon juice and the Lazy Red Cheeks 0% in a blender. Afterwards, pour the resulting puree through a fine sieve into a bowl. Set the bowl aside for a moment to proceed with the next step. You can just leave it to the left, or place it in the refrigerator for a while.
Supplies: sugar, dextrose, water, saucepan, cooking fire, bowl, (rinse) container with ice cold water
Before you start, prepare a bowl of ice-cold water. This can also be in the sink. This is where you put a bowl. You will need this later to cool down the syrup you are about to make as quickly as possible.
To make the syrup, heat the sugar, grape sugar and water in a saucepan while stirring. Keep stirring until you obtain a syrup. Once you have a syrup, pour it as quickly as possible into the bowl you just prepared. Keep stirring!
Supplies: raspberry puree, syrup
Take the raspberry puree and mix it into the cooled sugar syrup while stirring. Now finish the ice cream with an ice cream maker or by hand!
Supplies: an (ice) box with lid, freezer, fork, hand blender
Pour the ice cream mixture into an (ice cream) box. Place this box in the freezer. After about 45 minutes, take it out and go through it firmly with a fork. Afterwards, repeat this step every half hour to prevent the formation of ice crystals!
On the 4th time, use a hand blender instead of a fork. Afterwards, let the ice cream freeze for at least 1 hour. Then put the lid on and ready!
