Gilles De Munter

PRODUCTION TEAM - At a young age, Gilles De Munter began working in the hospitality industry. Here he quickly discovered that the bar and all its facets fascinated him. Seeing how they make complex cocktails, surprising flavor combinations, the social aspect, ... That is why he did not mind at all to combine the hospitality industry with his secondary education in tourism.

After completing his humanities degree, Gilles, like his Craftail colleagues, got the travel bug. He got the opportunity to travel to the other side of the world and work in a real 1920s Bookmaker Bar here. A unique opportunity he couldn't pass up. In Sidney, Australia, he discovered a love for mixing cocktails and speakeasies.

In Australia, he became a bar manager! A position in which he learned all aspects of the hospitality business. Once back in Belgium, the skills and know-how he gained here helped him get a job in the Antwerp cocktail bar Cocktails at Nine. Here he got to know his colleagues Yannick, Naushad and Sofian. Now he works at Craftails helping to prepare the cocktails and deliveries. An interesting process that he follows from A to Z. Together with Naushad, Sofian and Nick, he stands behind the brewing vessels of Craftails cocktails and mocktails every day and helps ensure that orders are delivered to customers on time.
