Dylan Beckers

AMBASSADOR - What started as a student job quickly turned into a passion. With a hotel manager as his father, Dylan was bitten by the hospitality virus at an early age. As the manager's son, he got a lot of attention from the staff in general, but it was the smooth bartenders he had the best rapport with. So it was no surprise that he started a student job in the hospitality industry at the age of 15.  

For his studies, Dylan decided to follow in his father's footsteps, hotel management. After successfully completing his studies, Dylan decided to seek further places. He wanted to work in the foreign hospitality industry and thus ended up in Spain. Here he not only gained further skills in hospitality, but alsolearned to speak the Spanish language. Upon his return to Belgium, he started working as a bartender and decided to focus entirely on cocktails! 

When he got the chance to apply for a job at the hotel "Gulde Schoen," then under management of Cocktails at Nine, he grabbed it with both hands. After a few conversations with Naushad, Dylan became part of the team! Inspired by his colleagues' out-of-the-box thinking, which fascinated him immensely, he decided to enter the VENUEZ Hospitality Awards. From the surprising ingredients he received for the competition, Dylan managed to create an innovative cocktail. It was not for nothing that he won the award for Best Bartender, as bartender Ran Van Ongevalle confirmed: "He proved to be very clever with the ingredients, many of which he incorporated into his cocktail. Super detailed, incredibly delicious. I would put it on my menu right away."

Currently, Dylan works full time for Craftails and gives his full 110% to the business. His goal is that soon he would be able to drink cocktails of the highest quality everywhere in Belgium.
